This research examines the description and analysis of the nature of development programs and their reflection on the quality of environmental life in the research community. It does so by identifying and evaluating development programs through the subjective perceptions of community members. This is achieved by examining the indicators of both subjective and objective quality of life، evaluating these indicators from their point of view، and identifying the degree of their satisfaction with the quality of environmental life they experience in this city.
Accordingly، the study sought to provide answers to several questions، including: What are the reflections of development programs on the quality of environmental life in the research community? To what extent are community members satisfied with them? Thus، the research aims to identify the impact of development programs on the quality of environmental life and the extent of satisfaction with it.
The researcher summarizes the most important findings reached by the research as follows:
- The residential environment in which members of the research community live suffers from marginalization and the absence of strategic urban planning.
- Environmental services and facilities are not adequately available in the city.
- Environmental pollution is widespread، which has negatively affected public health in the city.
- Environmental awareness is absent among most members of the research community.
- The results indicated that members of the research community are dissatisfied with the quality of environmental life they experience.
- The available development programs in the community have failed to achieve their objectives and to create a healthy، natural environment that is sound and free from diseases.
