Abstract

The phenomenon of migration is a global phenomenon, and it has increased and developed after the development of means of communication and transportation, and thus migration has taken another dangerous turn, affecting the receiving country before the sending country. By reviewing the literature, studies and statistics related to the subject of the study, it aimed to know the dangers of illegal immigration on the Libyan demographic security, and to identify the reality of illegal immigration in Libya as well as to identify the cradles of Libyan demographic security and its impact on the fertility of the population in Libya, and the study reached a number of results Among them, illegal immigration is one of the biggest threats to Libyan demographic security. Illegal immigration also has effects and threats that afflict the Libyan society and affect its life path, including health, corruption, security and social. The study also showed that the absence of policies and plans that seek to reconstruct the southern regions and protect their residents from displacement. And the lack of services contributed greatly to the increase in waves of illegal migration crossing the borders, especially the southern ones, which affected those areas negatively.
