The current study aimed to explore the importance of moving beyond the traditional view the traditional view that pits research methodologies against each other (تضع the traditional dichotomy of research methodologies. It also identified the most prominent cognitive shifts and transformations in the social sciences and humanities that have necessitated methodological integration. Furthermore, it explored the importance of developing measurement tools that combine qualitative and quantitative analysis to provide scientific solutions to methodological problems in contemporary studies. The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach using a critical methodology and reached the following conclusions: 1- Integrating and utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods allows for a more comprehensive and accurate perspective. An integrated approach is suitable for addressing phenomena and problems in the social sciences and humanities due to the complexity of their variables and the multiplicity of causes of social events and the diverse phenomena that result from them.2- Methodological integration requires researchers to master the art of combining methodologies and analyzing data with skill and expertise. The absence of proper integration leads to inconsistent or confusing results, hindering a deep understanding of the phenomena under study. 3- Methodological biases among researchers, or their lack of sufficient mastery of integration mechanisms, lead to an imbalance between quantitative and qualitative approaches, negatively impacting the validity and quality of the results. The study concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which was the necessity of training researchers to view methodologies holistically and to avoid focusing on one methodology to the exclusion of others when interpreting social and human phenomena in society.
